Product Description
PV Wire is purpose-built for the harsh outdoor environment of photovoltaic solar arrays, carrying DC power from modules to combiner boxes and inverters. Rated up to 2kV with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, PV Wire withstands continuous sunlight exposure, extreme temperatures, ozone, and moisture for the 25+ year service life expected of solar installations.
Featuring tinned copper conductors for corrosion resistance and a 90°C wet / 150°C dry temperature rating, our PV Wire is rated for both grounded and ungrounded array applications and is suitable for free-air and conduit installation. It meets UL 4703 and is sunlight-resistant and flame-retardant.
